NEWARK, N.J. - February 23, 2000 - IDT Corporation (NASDAQ: IDTC) today announced the opening of its IDT Europe Telecom division's European Call Super Center in Brussels, Belgium, to serve as the central point-of-contact for customers of IDT Europe's telecommunications products. IDT Europe, with headquarters in London, provides carrier services and prepaid calling card products to a growing base of European clientele. IDT Corp. is a leading multinational carrier, telephone company, and Internet Service Provider.

The new state-of-the-art center will provide unparalleled service, with the ability to handle customer inquiries in thirteen different languages, including English, Spanish, French, Dutch, Norwegian, Finnish, Portuguese, Hindi, and Mandarin Chinese. The call center's unique debit platform is also capable of converting billing and other transactions into local currencies, as well as the Euro, the new currency of the European Union.

The launch of the European Call Super Center comes less than two years after IDT's entrance in the European market in August 1998. Customer service through the Brussels facility will be available immediately in ten European countries, with plans for expansion into the rest of the European countries in the near future.
